I promised myself never to go more than a few days without posting. So I apologise for the absence and commit to 3 posts today which takes me back to par.
The Australian today has a Woody Allen quote in the Peter Switzer column in the Wealth Supplement. What do you mean you don’t regularly read that! It is taken from one of my favourite films: Annie Hall that won an oscar (as did Allen) in 1977.
Switzer uses it to describe the current financial climate, but it could also refer to the world that many L and D professionals face as they begin to lead in increasingly difficult times:
"More than any time in history, mankind faces a crossroads. One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness, the other to total extinction.
Let us pray that we have the wisdom to choose correctly."
