Prediction Markets

Thanks to Linda English and LINGOS for pointing out that Prediction Markets software is really coming of age.  Never heard of it?  Well it is beautifully simple.  The software allows you to poll your staff (and customers if you want) and their reaction to a question or an issue will be processed in to a probability of success or failure (or whatever the issue is).  The two leading contenders that you should check out are:  Inkling and ConsensusPoint.  Basically you are tapping into the collective wisdom of your network in a simple and straightforward way.  Who does not want to do that?  I think that this software will easily find it place within the suite of social networking packages being installed on corporate servers or served to corporate audiences.
