Gary Hayes is at a Digital Storytelling conference in Belgium and he posted a conversation he had with an academic presenter and his subsequent take on the conversation in his blog.
He has drawn a useful graphic showing the different levels of participation ranging from consuming content to submitting original content and the levels in between taking us from: CONSUMERS to SHARING to CRITIQUING to EDITING to CREATING.
