I was invited to launch the Delta Garden Project at SVT’s new regional office in Vaxjo. It is a super building: all open plan, two small studios,
and a terrific atmosphere. What is more interesting is that the upper two floors are let to small media companies. There are about 8 or 9 or them now like the Interactive Institute and it is on the edge of the Vaxjo University campus. This is a powerful mixture and Delta Garden is the project to synthesise this and build new ways for the Region to understand itself and its acheivements and eventually lead to new economic development in a very traditional part of Sweden. Great project, great people in charge and powerful pointer to the role of media in the local community.
