I have been playing around with a piece of software called Adaptive Blue. It is one of the new Semantic Apps that tries to understand and learn context so that you can get more relevant information around a person, book, CD or idea. Adaptive Blue adds a little blue square next to a link. So if I was talking about Don Tapscott’s excellent book: Wikinomics . The normal link I might choose takes you to Amazon.Com. Useful, but not the be all and end all of Wikinomics and highly US centric. But the Adaptive Blue link has a little square. If you click this, you are given more contextual information than you can shake a stick at.
It also allows you to embed an Adaptive Blue list to a web page: I have listed Business Books in the left hand column. Click a link there and you will see what it does. Explanatory videos are on the site. Have a look at one here.
