I watched this great movie at the IMAX in Melbourne.  A fantastic experience with the huge IMAX screen, wonderful (loud) sound and 3D. Check it out below.

The film is a clever amalgamation of 4 South American concerts. The main venue is Buenos Aires and the crowds are electric. So when Bono starts with: uno, dos, tres, catorce, they really connect! And they remain connected through out the concert.
When Bono says at one point that he will remember this night for the rest of his life I sense he is not bullshitting us. The intensity of the audience support and impact is palpable. South American kids (largely) for whom English is not their first language know every single word of every single song.
Where else could such massive influence be felt? Rock music really does connect up the world and, in U2’s case, delivers an ideology that shares values which are full of hope and belief in the future. I left the cinema practically bouncing along the street.
