I have just read your paper "Why talent wlaks out the door". As I am not a HR or Training professional the spirit and content within that article (and now on review your website, other resources) will assist our company enormously.
Jolley Roger staff come from a practical Merchant and Offshore background and we are passionate about empowering Maritime staff to have control over their own Training, Education and Career progression.
Not an easy task in a sector that is often disconnected and for the majority ashore "out of sight"
I'll pop back from time to time and post an update on our progress.
Can we reproduce / link through to your resources for wider benefit in our niche company / sector?
Bye for now...PJ

I enjoyed your article on Training Zone and hope that you are "spot on" as we are very much involved in the Innovation training environment.

Nigel,
I can't believe it's over a year since we did that event in Edinburgh, and I've only just got around to having a read at your site. A reflection of busy times, I guess.
Stimulating as ever! I look forward to browsing here some more.

Hi Nigel
Looks like you're having an inspiring time down under. When you're next back in London, let me know!
I was recently tagged (twice!) on a meme called ‘8 random facts’. Naturally, I thought of you. I appreciate that memes come along pretty frequently these days, so I won’t take it amiss if you decide not to respond. If you do, here’s the original post with the rules and the 8 (not very) interesting random facts on me,: http://donaldhtaylor.wordpress.com/2007/08/24/8-random-facts-meme/

ideas in an entertaining and accessible way.!!

Hi Nigel, A big thanks to you and John for leading our group through many insightful discussions during Monday's workshop. I look forward to stepping into your site from time to time to regenerate the enthusiasm, check the challenges, and to draw from "the wisdom of crowds".

Hi Nigel,
I got to your web site because I am seeking to understand what is likely to be emerging in the next few years, and in the longer term, regarding leadership learning and development. Your comments are thoughtful and provide an interesting contribution. I look forward to further additions and discussions on your site.
Thanks,
Kuldip
