Discussions > What to Watch Out for in 2007

I wrote an article for HR Magazine way back in the heady days of December 2006 on my predictions for 2007. You can download it. It is located at: nigelpaine.com> articles> Debates and Issues> 'What to Look out for in 2007'. But if you want a one minute summary, here it is.
For 2007 I predict:

An explosion of interest in informal learning
High definiton video conferencing and web 2.0 stuff generally
Social networking for companies and students and, well, everyone!
Emphasis on the impact of learning.
Rapid development tools will be widely used for almost instant learning content.
Mash-ups! Tagging of resources and multiple repurposing.

Does that scope your e-future? What have I missed out? What have I got wrong?

Well you missed out velocity: the increase in pressure to deliver fast and the increase in accountability: prove this works and prove it is delivering value for money.
