Only a Week to Vote!

The Economist is running an online debate until the 26th October on the thorny topic of technology in education.  Sir John Daniel is arguing for the motion:   "This house believes that the continuing introduction of new technologies and new media adds little to the quality of most education."  and  Dr Robert Kozma of SRI is arguing against.  The vote is narrowly against the motion so get out and vote. You can read John's proposition here and Robert Kozma's proposition here and then vote against! You can also post comments and change your vote at any time up to the conclusion of the event.  I actually found the comments more engaging somehow than the propositions as there were some heart felt posts.  See 'Dagny's' for example.  There are 8 pages of comments.  I am not sure if that is a good volume of contribution or a poor one. They are, however, for the most part heartfelt.
